ANNUAL REPORTS
Following the adoption of a Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) requires GSAs to submit annual reports to the CA Department of Water Resources on April 1st of every year (the 2020 submittal deadline was extended to May 15 due to the COVID-19 pandemic). The Annual Report serves to inform and update both the State and stakeholders in the Tulare Lake Subbasin on groundwater conditions and sustainability progress.
The Annual Report includes information from the Tulare Lake Subbasin’s five GSA’s monitoring networks, groundwater extraction data, surface water supply, total water use, and changes in groundwater storage.
