City of Lemoore
As a resident of the San Joaquin Valley for more than thirty years, Dr. "Frank" Gornick retired from a successful career as Chancellor of the West Hills Community College District.
During his 23 years serving the West Hills District, it grew from a single college in California's Central Valley into a multi-college system with colleges in Coalinga, Lemoore, and the educational center in Firebaugh. The West Hills District became known for its innovative approaches to using technology to enhance student learning, the professional growth of its employees, the diversity of staff and students, contributions to the economic vitality of the communities it serves, and student success.
Frank now operates his own consulting business FPG LLC, where he recently completed work for the California Emerging Technology Fund and the Economic Development Center of Fresno State to expand Broadband opportunities for the unserved and underserved of the rural and urban areas of the valley.
He was recently elected to the Lemoore City Council, where he expressed an interest in learning more about the SFKGSA and the water issues facing the agricultural industry and the communities within the GSA.
He and his wife, Gloria (formerly Gloria Garcia of Lemoore), have three grown children and one granddaughter.
